Big mountains are something that I need to make every winter season to feel the magic of snowboard. One week without full-time work, only friends, mountains (French, La Rosière) and snowboard – yes this is it what I love.

Something about La Rosière
La Rosière is a small town situated in south-east Frances in the mountains and very close to the Italian border.
In town, you can find all the needed stores in mountain, place to rental ski/snowboard gear and easy signup to ski/snowboard lesson.
Slopes in La Rosière
In this place (France and Italy parts of mountains) is around 200km slopes in different level of difficulty.
This place is situated very close on Mont Blanc. You can ride to the viewpoint to see this mountain.
One week in France
I went on this trip organized by the SnowShow company with my friends.
We paid around 2000 PLN (~500 USD at the moment) for it and we had:
- transportation by bus from Poland to France,
- accommodation in 8 person apartment (this apartment was very nice),
- slope pass
- party on slope
- parties after riding (silent-disco and normal dancing evening)
- events (poker, workshops, etc.)
We needed to pay only for food 🙂
A good option in this town was the possibility of riding in on slopes in 2 countries (France and Italy) because if we wanted to go to Italy we need to spend around 1-1,5 hour by lift and slopes to ride to Italy border. And of course, there we tried Italian foods and drinks (pizza and Bombardino).
What to say more? This was a good time spent with friends and sports activities.
Next year I need back for Alps mountains to ride more on a snowboard.
