This weekend was planned a few weeks ago and nobody knew what the weather will be. In our plan was biking and mountain climbing and of course meeting with friends.
Plan for this weekend was for me:
- go to work from 8 am to 4 pm,
- after work go for a train from Wroclaw to Krakow (Poland) where we meet our friend’s (trip mates),
- one night in Krakow and wake up Saturday morning to ride to Szczawnica (Poland) – our main purpose of this trip,
- rest of the days was not planned. I knew only I need back to Wroclaw to Monday to work 🙂
Winter is coming, winter is comming.
This day (Saturday) we planned to go on mountain climbing and we select the route across gorge “Homole”. And we know this day will be a little colder than and maybe snow appear but we don’t know how many it will be.
This snow surprised us how many this snow was there. We had the opportunity to throw snowballs and build snowman 😉 We play great together walking across the beautiful gorge.
We returned home dirty because was a lot of swamp from melting snow but very happy.
Rest of the afternoon we spend together in our rented flat where we play in board games.
Spring is Back
Day second and last of our short trip we wake up the morning to check-out from our rented flat. We moved our backpacks to the car and we drove a few kilometers further to the place where was next adventure.
Our next adventure was bicycling next to the river called “Dunajec”, the route started in the town Szczawnica and we selected route to the Červený Kláštor in Slovakia where we made a small break to rest.
The route runs through beautiful places next to the river and around was a beautiful
Whether of this day was very opposite than day before – was sunny and heat perfect day for cycling. Thangs this weather we have the opportunity too good see beautiful mountains peek Three Crowns.
After our break, we back the same route to bicycle rental and we go for a cake and coffee before we start our route home.
This was a very good weekend!
